Cougars Meet Bulldogs on the Diamond

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State baseball team plays a pair of games this week against Gonzaga. The Cougars and Bulldogs will play at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday in Spokane and will square off at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday in Pullman.

The teams have split a pair of meetings this season. Washington State (21-18) won 8-4 in Pullman, March 3 and Gonzaga (28-13) posted a 17-6 victory in Spokane, April 14.

A pair of southpaws will take the mound, Tuesday. Freshman Adam Conley (0-1) takes the ball for the Cougars while the Bulldogs counter with Rudy Carpenter (5-3). Wednesday's starters have not been announced.
