Sunday's Softball Game Nearly Sold Out
April 30, 2009
SEATTLE - Less than 30 reserved infield tickets remain for the No. 4 Washington softball team's game against Oregon this Sunday, May 3 at Noon. Approximately 150 outfield general admission tickets remain.
To purchase your tickets, visit GoHuskies.com or call the Husky Ticket Office at 206.543.2200. If the game does sell out, standing room only tickets will be sold on game day on a space available basis.
The Huskies will also play Oregon on Saturday, May 2 at 3 p.m. as a part of Husky Spring Fling. All outfield seats are free for the game. Fans will also receive trading cards of Husky juniors and sophomores for Sunday's game while Saturday's game is 'Real Dawgs Wear Purple... And Pink' Day with the first 300 fans receiving pink t-shirts while the Huskies will don pink jerseys in support of cancer awareness.
The weekend starts Friday when UW hosts Oregon State with students encouraged to come out for Dawg Pack Friday for free food. The Husky band will also be in attendance as the Huskies try to sweep the season series from the Beavers.
The No. 4 Huskies are 10-0 at Husky Softball Stadium this season, thanks in part to some of the best softball fans in the country. Included in those 10 victories is Wednesday's 3-0 victory over No. 2 UCLA in which the Huskies snapped the Bruins' nine-game winning streak and Danielle Lawrie tossed her second no-hitter of the season. Lawrie also no-hit Arizona and the nation's No. 1 offense a few weeks ago in Seattle and All-American Ashley Charters belted a walk-off home run to defeat Arizona State at Husky Softball Stadium the same weekend. Don't miss your chance to see one of the top softball teams in the country with just two weeks left in the regular season.
