Kickoff Times, TV Plans Set For 8 USC Football Games In 2009

The kickoff times and television plans for 8 of USC's 2009 football games have been determined.

USC's anticipated rematch at Ohio State on Sept. 12 will be shown live at 5 p.m. Pacific on ESPN (8 p.m. kickoff in Columbus).

The following week's Sept. 19 Pac-10 opener at Washington (guided by new head coach Steve Sarkisian, formerly a USC assistant) will air live at 12:30 p.m. Pacific on ABC.

ABC also will carry the Oct. 3 game at California, airing it live at 5 p.m. Pacific.

USC's annual intersectional matchup against Notre Dame will be shown live at 12:30 p.m. Pacific on NBC (3:30 p.m. kickoff in South Bend).

The Trojans' next 3 contests--Oct. 24 versus Oregon State at home, Oct. 31 at Oregon on Halloween and Nov. 7 at Arizona State--all will kick off at 5 p.m. Pacific and be shown live on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

USC's Dec. 5 season finale against Arizona in the Coliseum will start at 12:30 p.m. Pacific and air live on ABC.

Kickoff times and television plans for USC's 4 remaining 2009 contests, all home games (Sept. 5 season opener vs. San Jose State, Sept. 26 vs. Washington State, Nov. 14 Homecoming vs. Stanford and Nov. 28 vs. UCLA), could be announced in early June.

USC is coming off 7 consecutive AP Top 4 finishes, BCS bowl appearances, Pac-10 championships and 11-win seasons.
