No. 2 ASU Reaches 40-Win Mark For Third Straight Season With 10-2 Victory Over Oregon
TEMPE, Ariz. -The No. 2 Arizona State University baseball team defeated Oregon 10-2 on Saturday to reach the 40-win mark for the third straight season and sixth time in the last seven years. A crowd of 3,415 at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark saw the Sun Devils move to 40-11 overall, 18-5 in the Pac-10, with the victory. LOS ANGELES - The UCLA baseball team lost to No. 5 Cal State Fullerton, 6-5, in 10 innings Saturday evening at Steele Field at Jackie Robinson Stadium. The Bruins rallied from a late 5-0 deficit, scoring five two-out runs in the seventh inning, before Cal State Fullerton added one run in the top of the 10th inning to secure a 6-5 cushion.
