Baseball's Game Saturday Night At Stanford To Now Start At 6 P.M.
May 19, 2009
STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford baseball announced that the Oregon State baseball team's game with the Cardinal Saturday night will now start at 6 p.m. PT, instead of the originally scheduled time of 1 p.m.
The move was necessitated to accommodate Stanford's Fireworks Night. Originally scheduled after Friday night's game, which is also a 6 p.m. start, it needed to be moved after Stanford learned that its softball team would be hosting Arizona in a televised NCAA Super Regional game at the same time.
Sunday's finale between the Beavers and Cardinal is still scheduled for 12 p.m.
Oregon State takes on Oregon twice this week before making the trek to Stanford. OSU and UO play Tuesday night at 5 p.m. at Goss Stadium, the final home game of the regular season for the Beavers.
After Tuesday's game, Oregon State will make a small trip north to play the Ducks at Volcanoes Stadium (Keizer, Ore.) Wednesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
