Five Stanford Women's Golfers Honored For Their Academic Excellence By The Pac-10

Walnut Creek, Calif. - The Stanford women's golf team was well represented on the Pac-10 All-Academic team with three first team honorees. The Cardinal led the conference with the three first teamers as well as having every eligible member of the team honored in some way.
Seniors Mari Chun and Ki-Shui Liao and sophomore Rebecca Durham each earned first team honors. Chun finished her decorated career in 2008-09 that included an individual win at the Elean Ihlanfeldt Invitational last fall. Chun boasts a 3.69 GPA while majoring in Japanese.
Liao also competed her Stanford career in 2008-09. The senior is majoring in communications and carries an impressive 3.89 GPA. Durham led Stanford at the NCAA West Regional where she finished tied for 51st. The sophomore holds a 3.80 GPA while majoring in psychology.
