Shawna Feldt Resigns as Assistant Softball Coach

Corvallis, Ore. – Shawna Feldt has resigned from her position as assistant softball coach to take on head coaching responsibilities at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Ore., announced Tuesday.


Feldt spent four seasons as assistant coach for the Beavers under head coach Kirk Walker. Prior to her time at Oregon State, she coached the Fort Vancouver High School softball team in Vancouver, Wash., leading the program to the district playoffs during her first season, culminating in a District Coach of the Year honor.  


A 2001 graduate of Oregon State, Feldt was a three-year letterwinner after playing her rookie season at Mississippi State. She left her mark in the record books ranking third in singles, second in triples and fifth in hits and runs scored. Post graduation, she played professional softball in the Netherlands.
