Jim Sterk and Paul Wulff Kickoff 2009-10 Season of <I>Cougar Chats</i> Series

The 2009-10 season of Cougar Chats, presented by Northwest Dodge Dealers, begins with the doubleheader of Washington State Director of Athletics Jim Sterk on Monday, Aug.3 at 11 a.m., followed by Football Head Coach Paul Wulff, Tuesday, Aug. 4 at noon.

Featured among a season of many highlights in 2008-09 were NCAA appearances by the baseball and soccer programs and Jeshua Anderson defending his NCAA 400 meter hurdle title. In addition, Taylor Rochestie (men's basketball) and Greg Lagreid (baseball) were named the Pac-10 Scholar-Athlete of the Year for their respective sports, marking the second straight year a student-athlete with these programs were bestowed with that honor. The Cougar Football team begins fall practice, Sunday, Aug. 9. Season tickets, along with tickets for the Sept. 12 Cougar Gridiron Classic, presented by Washington Beef Producers, are currently on sale.
