Stanford Football Single-Game Tickets Go on Sale August 4

Stanford, Calif. - Single-game tickets for the 2009 Stanford football season will be available for purchase on Tuesday, August 4 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Stanford Athletic Ticket Office, on-line at GoStanford.com or over the phone by calling 1-800-STANFORD.
General admission single-game tickets are available for as low as $12 for adults and $8 for children. Reserved seats are available for as low as $15.
In addition, groups of 20 or more may purchase discounted single game tickets for the San Jose State, Washington, UCLA, Arizona State and Oregon games. Groups can be accommodated for the Notre Dame game, but no discount will apply. Group tickets range between $12 and $65 depending on the game.
Tickets for the 112th Big Game against California on Nov. 21 are available on a season-ticket or mini-plan package only.
The You Pick'em Mini Plan, in which fans can purchase a reserve ticket for either the Big Game against Cal or Notre Dame, along with three other games of choice, are available for as low as $91. Six-game Family Plans for a family of four are also available for only $199 (does not include Big Game).
Stanford kicks off its seven-game home schedule on Saturday, Sept. 19 against long-time rival San Jose State in the Bill Walsh Legacy Game. Kids age 14 and under wearing their team jersey or cap will be admitted free. The San Jose State game marks the first of three consecutive home dates for the Cardinal, as Washington (Sept. 26) and UCLA (Oct. 3) follow the Spartans into Stanford Stadium.
The annual Reunion Homecoming Game is slated for Oct. 24 against Arizona State, with a kick time set for 7:15. Stanford will also host Oregon on Nov. 7 before closing out the regular season with a pair of home dates against Cal in the 112th Big Game on Nov. 21 and Notre Dame on Nov. 28.
Stanford, which returns 17 starters (8 offense/7 defense/2 specialists) and 50 letterwinners (24 offense/23 defense/3 specialists) from last year's team that finished with a 5-7 overall record and 4-5 in the Pac-10 Conference, will open fall camp on Monday, August 10. The season opener is set for Sept. 5 at Washington State.
