PORTLAND, Ore. - The No. 16 California women's soccer team lost a hard-fought nonconference game, 4-0, to No. 3 Portland on Friday evening at the Merlo Field at the Clive Charles Soccer Complex. The Golden Bears are now 1-1-0 on the young 2009 campaign while the Pilots are now 2-0-0.
