Beavers Press Pass and All Access Debut Wednesday

Sept. 8, 2009

Corvallis, Ore. -

Remember when Steven Jackson rushed for a bowl record five touchdowns at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, helping head coach Mike Riley win his first of five bowl games?  Speaking of Mike Riley, did you know his wife (Dee) and daughter (Kate) participate in volunteer work every year in Guatemala?  You’ll get the skinny on those stories and the recap of the season opening victory over Portland State, and a preview at this week’s challenge at UNLV on Beavers All Access.

The 30-minute show, hosted by five-time Oregon Sportscaster of the Year Mike Parker, makes this week’s debut on FSN Northwest at 5 p.m. Wednesday (due to technical difficulties last week the show aired later than scheduled).

Make sure to tune in Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. for Beavers Press Pass, immediately preceding Beavers AA.  Beaver Press Pass includes the weekly press availability for Riley and local media from the Valley Football Center.

Beaver Sports Talk returns this week Thursday from McMenamins on Monroe in Corvallis.  The 7 p.m. show features Riley and this week’s everyday champion, Michael Miller of the men’s soccer team.  The public is invited to attend as part of Beaver Chalk Talk or you can listen over most of the Beaver Sports Radio Network.
