UCLA Tennis Players Listed in ITA Preseason Rankings

LOS ANGELES - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) recently released its preseason singles and doubles rankings, and both the UCLA men's and women's tennis teams have several players ranked to begin the year.

On the men's side, UCLA is led by senior Matt Brooklyn, who checks in at No. 39 in singles. Junior Nick Meister is at No. 57 along with Cal transfer Kallim Stewart, who will join the team for his senior season. Junior Holden Seguso rounds out the group at no. 64. The Bruins have one doubles team ranked, as Amit Inbar and Meister check in at No. 33.

As far as the UCLA women are concerned, senior All-American Yasmin Schnack is ranked No. 11 in singles. She is followed by No. 37 Andrea Remynse and No. 85 Maya Johansson. In doubles, Remynse and Schnack are ranked fourth in the nation, while the Bruin team of Carling Seguso and Stephanie Wetmore is ranked No. 25.
