Cougars Women's Golf Team Moves on to Corvallis

What’s Happening This Week: The Washington State women’s golf team will travel to Corvallis, Ore. to play in the Guistina Memorial Classic hosted by Oregon State on Monday Sept. 28-29 at the Trysting Tree Golf Club. The 10-team field will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.


The Course: Trysting Tree Golf Club, a par-72 will play at 6191 yards for the event.


The Field: The 10 team field will include Boise State, Cal Poly, Hawai'i, Nevada, Oregon, Oregon State, Portland, South Carolina-Upstate and Wyoming.

Traveling for WSU: This week’s lineup will include junior Allison Travis, sophomore Kristen Allard and freshmen Ali Thompson, Emma Betland and Ellen Park.


Last Time Out: The Cougars are coming off an eighth place finish at the second inaugural Inland Cup hosted here in Pullman…carding a team total of 940 only seven strokes back from the top five… Freshman Ali Thompson led the team earning fifth place in her first collegiate tournament posting a 225 (+9). Fellow freshman Emma Betland debuted in her first collegiate event with a top 25 finish.
