Women's tennis finishes off New Mexico Invitational

ALBUQUERQUE--The Arizona women's tennis squad finished off play at the New Mexico Invitational Sunday, winning two of three singles matches and their only doubles match.

In singles, sophomore Sarah Landsman defeated Texas Tech's Elizabeth Ullathorne6-2, 6-2, and senior Ariane Masschelein defeated Boise State's Stephanie Jasper 6-2, 6-2. Sophomore Natasha Marks lost to Denver's Ute Schnoy.

For the Wildcats' only doubles match, Masschelein and Marks took down Denver's Sophia Bergner and Christin Thompson.

Up next for the Wildcats are the Cal Invitational in Berkeley, California, and the SDSU Fall Classic in San Diego. Play for both tournaments start October 2.
