Stanford in Third Place After Two Rounds of Isleworth Collegiate

WINDEMERE, Fla. - Stanford carded a 12-over 300 today in the second round of the Isleworth Intercollegiate being held in Windemere, Fla. and sit alone in third place with a 54-hole team score of 589 heading into tomorrow's final round.

Stanford trails first place Oklahoma State (580) by nine shots and second place Florida (584) by five strokes entering Tuesday's play.

Three Stanford players-Steve Ziegler, Sihwan Kim and Andrew Yun--are in the chase for the individual title.

Ziegler shot a two-over 70 today after yesterday's 68 and is in third place at 142, three shots behind tournament leader Bud Cauley of Alabama and one behind Oklahoma State's Peter Uihlein.

Kim carded a 74 today after yesterday's round of 72 and finds himself tied for fifth at 144, five strokes off the pace set by Cauley.

Yun, a freshman, is tied for ninth at 146 after shooting a 75 today.

Sophomore David Chung is 15-over for the tournament at 159 after today's 77 while senior Jordan Cox is tied for 68 at 161 after shooting an 81 today.

Ziegler was one-under on his front nine today, but double bogied the par-5 13th hole and bogied the par-4 16th en route to a 74.

Kim had five birdies on his card today at Isleworth and has 10 for his first two rounds.
