USC To Host CS Dominguez Hills In Exhibition Game

The USC men's basketball team will host CS Dominguez Hills in an exhibition game at the Galen Center on Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. The game will be the last for the Trojans before the season opener at home vs. UC Riverside on Nov. 17 at 7:30 p.m.

USC is coming off a 22-13 season, its third consecutive 20-win season and third consecutive invitation to the NCAA Tournament, both school records. USC also captured its first Pac-10 Tournament championship by defeating California, UCLA and Arizona State en route to the 2009 title. The Trojans then went on to defeat Boston College in the NCAA first round, before falling to eventual runner-up Michigan State.

Guard Dwight Lewis returns for his senior season after leading USC in scoring last year with a 14.4 average.

CS Dominguez Hills is coached by former Trojan guard Damaine Powell (1993-94) who guided them to a 22-8 record last year which tied for the most wins in a season in school history.

Trojan forwards Alex Stepheson (knee) and Nikola Vucevic (calf) are questionable for the game and are listed as day-to-day.
