    ARIZONA junior OH Tiffany Owens collected 30 kills (3.75 kps) over the weekend, leading the Cats with 15 kills in each match vs. Washington and Washington State. She also added 21 digs (2.63 dps) and has now recorded a double-double in three consecutive matches.

    ARIZONA STATE snapped a eight-match losing streak with a four-set win over No. 21 Washington State. It was the second win over a ranked opponent this season for the Sun Devils. Sophomore OH Sofie Schlagintweit hit .286 in collecting 15 kills in 35 attempts in the win over WSU.

    CALIFORNIA senior L Kristen Kathan posted 21 digs vs. UCLA and 20 digs vs. USC, averaging 5.13 dps over the weekend. That pushes her season average from 3.56 dps to 3.72 dps. Junior S Carli Lloyd hit .381 with nine kills and dished out 91 assists (11.38 aps) in the split with the Los Angeles schools.

    OREGON senior OH Sonja Newcombe hit .364 and pounded out a career-high 29 kills (7.25 kps) in the four-set win over Oregon State. Senior S Nevena Djordjevic took possession of the school career assists record (3,924) with her 56 tally Friday - her second-highest

    of the season. She rewrote the former mark owned by Stephan

    ie Snyder (3,883, 1986-89).

    OREGON STATE senior OH Rachel Rourke posted a career-high 36 kills in a tough four-set loss to Oregon. in doing so, she broke the 15-year-old school record for kills as she now has 1,773 career kills, resetting the record set by Shelly Smith form 1991-94. Also in the match against Oregon, junior MB Kiersten Sambrailo set a new career-high for blocks with nine.

    STANFORD junior OH Cassidy Lichtman leads the team with 15 double-doubles, including seven triple-doubles this season. With 1,439 digs, junior L Gabi Ailes needs 18 digs to move into second-place on Stanford's career digs list. On the weekend, senior MB Janet Okogbaa hit a combined .434 against USC and UCLA (30k-6e-56att).

    UCLA snapped an 18-match losing streak to Stanford with a five-set win over the Cardinal. With the win, coach Andy Banachowski posted his 1,100th career victory. Including the win at Cal, the Bruins swept the Bay Area trip for the first time since the 2000 season. The Bruins posted 99 digs at Stanford, the most by a Pac-10 team this season.

    USC sophomore OH Alex Jupiter has led the Women of Troy in kills in six of the last seven matches. During that span she has tallied 126 kills (5.04 kps).

    WASHINGTON junior OH Kindra Carlson posted a career-high 24 kills in the three set sweep of Arizona State. For the weekend, she picked up 42 kills (6.00 kps), while hitting .333 in the process. Senior L Tamari Miyashiro recorded 38 digs and has now moved into second on the Pac-10 all-time digs list with 2,233. She'll need 152 digs to catch former ASU Sun Devil Sydney Donahue (2,385 digs, 2004-07).

    WASHINGTON STATE senior MB Cassie Robbins hit a combined .375 (22k-4e-48att.) in matches at Arizona State and Arizona. Robbins ranks 10th in the Pac-10, hitting .318 this season.
