Women's Basketball Announces Promotions for the 2009-2010 Home Season

TEMPE, Ariz. - The 2009-2010 Arizona State University Women's Basketball home season will feature many ticket promotions this season, including discounts for groups, 'Gold Game' vs. South Dakota State in their Home Opener, Team Nights, the 4th annual Pink-Zone/Breast Cancer Awareness game, and the NCAA/Pac-10 'Pack the House Challenge. In addition to these promotions, family fun days and the 4th annual Sparky's Kids to College Field Trip highlight this season's community outreach initiatives. 

The home season tips off Thursday, November 5th at 6:00 p.m. when the Sun Devils host the Vanguard Lions in the Select-A-Seat Night at Wells Fargo Arena. The Select-a-Seat event is FREE and open to the public. Great season tickets are still available for the 14-game home stand. Reserved seating begins at only $125 and includes all regular season home games! This is your chance to pick out your season ticket for the 2009-2010 season. ASU ticket office personnel will be on hand to assist with the purchase.

Groups of 15 or more will receive $3 admission per person at any home game this season.  Fans may pre-order group tickets and receive exclusive group benefits by calling Meaghan at 480-727-3504 or Aaron at 480-727-3502.

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday home game is a Family Fun Day, and junior admission is just $1. Pre-game activities include inflatable games, poster marking and photos with Sparky!

ASU Women's Basketball will host an Education Day on Saturday, February 6th as they face Washington State at 1:00 PM and all teachers, education administrators and their families receive $3 admission by presenting their school ID. Also, fans can make history this season by participating in the 2nd Annual NCAA/Pac-10 'Pack the House' challenge inside Wells Fargo Arena on Saturday, February 27th when the Devils take on Pac-10 foe California at 3:00 p.m. 

In an effort to spread breast cancer awareness, ASU Women's Basketball will hold its 4th annual Pink-Zone game on February 20th when they host in-state rival, the Arizona Wildcats at 9:00 p.m.  Fans wearing pink colored clothing will receive $3 admission to the game. Representatives from local breast cancer awareness organizations will be available to meet with fans about participation and volunteer opportunities in the valley. Additionally, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) is also hosting their 4th annual Pink Zone, formerly known as 'Think Pink' week February 12-21, 2010 and Arizona State is just one of the many schools participating.

You can also become part of the Sun Devil family by joining the Junior Sun Devil Club presented by Shamrock Farms today! Sparky and Roxie have partnered to create a fun and exciting Sun Devil kid's club giving our young fans the opportunity to see year round Sun Devil Athletics and offer invitations to exclusive club events. Membership is just $25 and includes admission to 6 Men's Basketball Games, Women's Basketball, Wrestling, Gymnastics, Baseball, and Softball.

Junior Sun Devil Club day at ASU Women's Basketball this season is scheduled for Saturday, February 6th as the Devils host Washington State at 1:00 PM.

The road to the 2010 Women's Final Four begins in Tempe. On March 20th and 22nd, Arizona State University will be hosting the first and second rounds of the tournament in Wells Fargo Arena.
