Cal's Sunday Match at Stanford Sold Out

BERKELEY - The Pacific-10 Conference game between Cal and No. 1 Stanford on Sunday, Nov. 8 has sold out, Stanford Athletics announced Friday. Stanford is advising fans to arrive early to ensure parking. The game will be televised live on Comcast Sports Net Bay Area and tape-delayed on Fox Soccer Channel. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

Live stats are available via Stanford's Gametracker, at KZSU-FM (90.1) will provide live radio broadcast. Besides the radio dial, the broadcast can be found on the Internet at Press play on the tool bar next to KZSU-1.

In the Bay Area, the match will be shown live on Comcast Sports Net Bay Area. Fox Soccer Channel will air the game on Tuesday at 8 p.m. PT. The match will be part of the Fox Soccer Channel 'NSCAA Game of the Week' package. Mark Rogondino will call the play-by-play and Kyndra de St. Aubin will be the analyst.

The Golden Bears bring their 2009 regular season to a close with the game at Stanford. Cal (10-7-1 overall, 4-4-0 in the Pac-10 Conference) will face the Cardinal (19-0-0 and 8-0-0 in the Pac-10), which has clinched a share of the Pac-10 title and boasts seven wins over ranked opponents. Stanford holds the all-time series lead against Cal, 13-11-4, with its most recent victory coming last season, 3-0, in Berkeley.

Stanford Parking Advisory:Because of a women's basketball exhibition Sunday, part of the Varsity Sunken Diamond lot, and the Maples Pavilion lot, will be blocked off for women's basketball parking permit holders and those with blue disability placards. It's recommended that soccer fans arrive early because the rest of the lot will fill up fast. Other game day parking will be at the Track House lot at the corner of Campus and Galvez and in El Camino Grove, the dirt lot behind the football stadium. 4-4).
