Anzures & Crabill Highlight Pac-10 All-Academic Cross Country Teams

Seniors Marco Anzures and Alex Crabill highlighted the 2009 Pac-10 All-Academic Cross Country teams as the duo led the team with second-team accolades. In all, seven Bruin men and women earned All-Academic honors for the cross country season.

Anzures is a history major with a 3.32 gpa. This is his first second-team honor after being named honorable mention last season. Crabill, an Economics/Political Science major with a 3.35 gpa, also earned his first second-team honor after having previously earned honorable mention accolades in 2007 and 2008.

Also representing the men's team this season was junior Kevin Sullivan who earned honorable mention honors.

On the women's side, four Bruins were named to the honorable mention list - sophomore Katja Goldring, senior Rosa Magana, sophomore Taryn Pastoor and junior Kelcie Wiemann.
