SEATTLE - The University of Washington men's soccer team has opened registration for its Winter Camp, which will take place Dec. 28, 29 and 30 and is open to boys and girls aged 8-18.
The camp will feature instruction from former Huskies and current Major League Soccer stars Ely Allen (D.C. United), Kevin Forrest (Portland Timbers) and George John (FC Dallas), along with current Husky players and coaching staff.
The camp will feature two sessions, the first for players between the ages of 8-11 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The next session is for players aged 12-18 and will go from 1:30-4 p.m. except on Dec. 30 when they will also go from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Space is limited for the camp and registrations must be postmarked or processed online by Dec. 19. Camp fee is $115 for players 8-11 years old and $125 for players 12-18 with advanced registration. Prices go up an additional $10 for each with door registration. All proceeds benefit the UW men's soccer program.
The camp will take place at the Dempsey Indoor Practice Facility and the East Practice Field behind Husky Stadium. Drop off and pick up point are at the front of the Dempsey if you have your parking pass. A 20-minute permit will be provided with your confirmation email. Please print and bring the pass with you as the UW men's soccer team is not responsible for parking. Parents wanting to stay longer will have to purchase parking passes at the Gatehouse.
