Nov. 30, 2009

Walnut Creek, Calif. – Senior Rachel Rourke (Queensland, Australia) and freshman Ashley Eneliko (Seattle, Wash.) were named to All-Pac-10 Teams, announced Monday by Pac-10 Commissioner Larry Scott.

Rourke, a two-time All-Pac-10 selection, finished her career with 1,920 kills, easily breaking the school record set in 1994 by Shelly Smith. Her 531 kills this season ranks fourth all-time, and she holds the single season record for kills per set (4.83) and points per set (5.47). She also holds the career record for kills per set, averaging 4.52. She was an All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention selection as a sophomore and an All-Pac-10 Freshman Team honoree in 2006.

Eneliko earns Pac-10 All-Freshman Team Honorable Mention status after racking up 66 blocks on the season in limited playing time, playing in 66 of the team’s 110 sets, starting 12 matches. Eneliko added 41 kills, three assists and 14 digs.
