Beavers Move Up to No. 16 in Golf World Poll

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The strong play of the Oregon State men's golf team this fall continues to lead to recognition from around the country.

The final Golf World/Nike Golf Division I Coaches' Poll of the fall shows the Beavers at No. 16. Meanwhile, Oregon State remains at No. 13 in the Golfstat rankings and No. 17 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings.

The Beavers played in four tournaments in the fall finishing in the top two in all four events. OSU won the Giustina Memorial Classic on its home course of Trysting Tree for the third straight year. The Beavers also tied for first at the prestigious Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate.

Oregon State is done playing for the remainder of the fall and returns to action Feb. 3-5 at the University of Hawai'i-Hilo Invitational on the Mauna Lani North Course.
