Baseball To Host Hitting Camps In Late December

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State baseball team will host a set of hitting camps from Dec. 28-30 at the Truax Indoor Center on the University campus.

The camp will run all three days for players in grades 9-12. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day and costs $225 overall.

Players in grades 2-8 are also eligible to sign up as that portion of the camp will be held Dec. 28 and Dec. 29. Those age groups will also go from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and camp cost is $175.

Players can be signed up for camp at the official camp web site at A required medical release form, available on the left side of the page, is also available at that site. The medical release form must be signed and brought before the first day of the camp.

The Beavers will open the 2010 season on Feb. 19 when starting a four-game series at Hawaii. Make sure to visit for more information on the Beavers as the season draws closer.
