TUCSON, Ariz. - The Washington State Cougars are among teams receiving votes in the 2010 Collegiate Baseball preseason poll.

Each member of the Pacific-10 Conference received at least one vote for a spot in the newspaper's Top 40.

The Cougars will play 20 of their 56 games against teams in the preseason poll and another 17 against those who received votes.

Arizona State (No. 5), Oregon State (No. 10), UCLA (No. 20) and Stanford (No. 26) are the Pac-10 opponents in the top 40. The Cougars take an eight-game road trip in March to play three games against No. 29 Texas A&M (12-14), two against No. 40 Dallas Baptist (16-17) and three against No. 27 Wichita State (19-21).

In addition to the three-game series against the other five Pac-10 schools who received votes, WSU will play two games with Bethune-Cookman (Feb. 26-27) in Lubbock, Texas.
