2010 Football Schedule Announced

Jan. 4, 2010

Corvallis, Ore. - One of the most challenging football schedules in Oregon State football history awaits the 2010 Beavers when the season begins Sat., Sept. 4. Officially, OSU will announce its season opener at a later date.

The non-conference schedule includes a Sept. 18 home game against the Louisville Cardinals and a Sept. 25 game at the Boise State Broncos. The game with the Cardinals concludes a two-game series, while the contest vs. the Broncos begins a two-game pact with BSU returning to Corvallis during the 2012 season.

The Pac-10 Conference slate opens for the fifth time since 2003 against Arizona State, as the Sun Devils travel to Corvallis for an Oct. 2 game. The Beavers will have bye weeks Sept. 11 and Oct. 23. Three of the Beavers' final four games are at Reser Stadium, the most since the 1998 team played its final three at what was then known as Parker Stadium.

Oregon State enters the 2010 season with a streak of playing in four consecutive bowl games and is the only team to finish in the top three of the Pac-10 Conference standings in each of the last four years. OSU has won 36 games over the last four seasons with 17 defeats.

Season ticket information for the 2010 season as well as a portion of the television schedule will be announced in the near future.
