Brazil 2009 Digital Stories: Part Four

Jan. 5, 2010

SEATTLE - As part of their 2009 foreign tour of Brazil, members of the 2009 Washington women's soccer team were tasked with creating 'digital stories' summing up their time in the soccer capital of the world.

Players took hundreds of photos during their two-week trip to Brazil and upon returning home, wrote down their thoughts on how their lives had changed during the trip and the perspective their experience brought them on how fortunate they are to be NCAA Division I athletes.

The players took these thoughts and photos and created four videos that capture the essence of their life-changing trip. Set to Brazilian music and narrated by members of the team, these videos offer a terrific insight into what soccer means to the people of Brazil and what it now means to the Huskies.

Today, the fourth and final video is unveiled: 'Language' by Chelsea Bumbaugh, Carli Cearnal, Faustine Dufka, Hannah Greig, Veronica Perez and Alex Webber. Click here to watch.
