Te'o-Nesheim To Play In East-West Shrine Game
Jan. 6, 2010
Washington defensive end Daniel Te'o-Nesheim will play in the 2010 East-West Shrine Game later this month in Orlando, Fla.
Te'o-Nesheim, who wrapped up his excellent Husky career as the UW's all-time leader in quarterback sacks, will play in the game Jan. 23, in Orlando's Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. The four-year starter from Waikoloa, Hawai'i, started all 49 games of his UW career.
Te'o-Nesheim is one of two UW departing seniors who will play in a college all-star game as linebacker Donald Butler will participate in the Senior Bowl Jan. 30 in Mobile, Ala.
Longtime NFL coach Marty Schottenheimer will serve as coach of the Te'o-Nesheim's West team in the Shrine Game, squaring off against fellow former Browns head coach Romeo Crennel, who will coach the East squad.
