Andy Buh Named Defensive Coordinator at Nevada

STANFORD, Calif. - Andy Buh, who has served on Stanford's coaching staff for the last three seasons, including the last two as co-defensive coordinator, has been apponted defensive coordinator at the University of Nevada.
Buh played two seasons at Nevada (1993 and '94) and helped the Pack to a Big West championship as a senior in 1994. Nevada went 16-6 during Buh's two seasons in Silver and Blue. He graduated from Nevada with a degree in physical education in 1996. After a season as an assistant coach at Orange Glen High School in California, Buh returned to Nevada as a graduate assistant during the 1997 and 1998 seasons. He was hired as an assistant coach for the 1999 season and he worked with the secondary and special teams.
Buh's departure comes two days after special teams coordinator and defensive ends coach D.J. Durkin was appointed as the linebackers coach at the University of Florida.
