Silva Leads Divers At Bruin Invitational With A Win On Tower

For the second meet this season, junior Karina Silva captured the tower crown as she posted a season-best and improved NCAA Zone E qualifier of 263.95 to win at the Bruin Diving Invitational. Silva beat her nearest competitor by over 27 points.
The junior also was the top finisher on three-meter, posting a top score of 301.60.
Freshman Maggy Boyd had a big meet on three-meter as she scored a lifetime-best and NCAA Zone E qualifier to finish fifth overall (286.20). Boyd also finished sixth on tower with a score of 182.75.
Fellow frosh Michelle Vale finished 6th on 3M (262.80) and seventh on tower (182.00), while junior Laura Winn placed third on tower (221.35) and 14th on three-meter (226.05).
Competition concludes on Sunday with one-meter for women and three-meter for men.
