The Washington State women's basketball team kicks off a three-game homestand against UCLA Thursday (Jan. 21) at Friel Court. Tip-off against the Bruins is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The Cougars (5-12, 0-6 Pac-10) are still looking for their first conference victory of the season, while the Bruins (10-6, 3-2 Pac-10) have lost two straight after winning five in a row.

WSU will close out the weekend with USC Saturday at 2 p.m., and then host Washington next Friday (Jan. 29) at 5 p.m.

The Cougars' match-up with UCLA will be the first of six live-stream webcasts this season. Webcasts will be available for the cost of a subscription to Cougar All-Access on WSU's official Web site ( and will feature exclusive audio play-by-play and color commentary from students at the renowned Edward R. Murrow College of Communication. Other webcasts include USC (Jan. 23), California (Feb. 12), Stanford (Feb. 14), Oregon (March 5) and Oregon State (March 7).

Fans can listen to the game live on KQQQ 1150 AM and on translator 105.3 FM in Pullman/Moscow, or at Steve Grubbs has the call live from Pullman.

Freshman guard KiKi Moore leads the Pacific-10 Conference and entered this week ranked 13th nationally in steals (3.1). She also currently ranks third in the league in assists (3.8), and 15th in scoring (13.5).

Freshman center Carly Noyes recorded four blocks against Oregon (Jan. 3), tying WSU's freshman NCAA single-game record. She already has 10 multiple-block games in her debut season, and her block average (1.8) ranks second in the Pac-10. Her season total (30) is already the second-most by a Cougar freshman in NCAA history.

The Cougars are looking for their first victory over the Bruins since a 74-52 win at home Jan. 6, 2001. A win would and a streak of 18-consecutive losses to UCLA. WSU is 6-41 all-time against the Bruins, including a 6-18 mark at home.

The Cougars entered this week leading the conference and ranking 19th-nationally in turnover margin, forcing 5.41 more turnovers per game than committing.
