Final Stats

The No. 13 USC men's swimming and diving team (7-2) lost to No. 4 California (5-1), 158-136, on a rainy Friday afternoon at the McDonald's Swim Stadium on the USC campus.USC senior Zoltan Povazsay handily won the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:26.96, qualifying for an NCAA 'B' Cut.

Sophomore Trojan Richard Charlesworth finished second in the 500 yard freestyle behind Povazsay with a time of 4:29.87. Charlesworth also won the 1000 yard freestyle in 9:22.46.

USC junior Dillon Connolly won the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:59.92.

Sophomore diver Harrison Jones had a successful day for the Trojans. He won the 1 meter diving competition with a final score of 392.25, and finished in first place in the 3 meter diving competition with a score of 428.17.

USC will race against Stanford on Saturday (Feb. 6) at 12 p.m.
