PINK AND RED ARE THE THEME AS TEAMS BATTLE FOR THE SECOND TIME AROUND: With five teams separated by three games, several hope to leave Valentine's Day weekend without having their hearts broken. One place where there is no love lost is at Pauley Pavilion where UCLA looks to avenge a defeat earlier in the season at the hands of USC. The Bruins host the Trojans on national TV on Saturday, Feb. 13 on FSN. Also on FSN, California travels to Washington to battle on Sunday, Feb. 14.

This weeks also kicks off the WBCA's Pink Zone breast cancer awareness initiative. Oregon and Oregon State turn up the pink for breast awareness on Saturday against the Arizona schools, while Washington and Washington State look to make awareness a matter of the heart on Sunday.

EXCITING BASKETBALL: It has been a tight race since the Pac-10 season began, with just four games separating second and eighth place in the league standings. If you look even closer, the competition has been even tighter. Of the 56 league games played so far, 31 have been decided by 10 points or less.

STANDOUTS IN THE CLASSROOM, TOO: Four Pac-10 players were named Co-SIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 8, with Oregon State earning two spots. Oregon State's Kirsten Tilleman and Talisa Rhea were named second team academic all-district, while Oregon's Amanda Johnson and Arizona's Danielle Orsillo were first team honorees. The first team picks are eligible for the national ballot. To be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 and be a starter or significant reserve.

Tickets Available for Purchase for 2010 State Pac-10 Women's Basketball Tournament: The 2009-10 campaign culminates at the State Farm Pac-10 Women's Basketball Tournament, March 11-14 at Galen Center on the campus of USC.
