Prugh Eighth at Pebble Beach After Two Rounds

Feb. 12, 2010

MONTEREY, Calif. - Alex Prugh continues his impressive run in his PGA Tour rookie season, this time sitting at eighth place after two rounds of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. The former Husky is 8-under overall after back-to-back rounds of 68.

Prugh, with three top-10 finishes in four PGA events already under his belt, used seven birdies to help negate three bogeys on the Pebble Beach Golf Links on Friday. Prugh had never played any of the three courses in the rotation for the tournament prior to this weekend.

Prugh will tee off at 8:22 a.m. on Saturday at the Monterey Peninsula course, which is playing easiest among the three courses.

Six golfers are tied for the lead at 10-under overall.
