Hey Dawg Fans!
I can't believe how quickly the season is going by. This weekend will be our 7th meet! We're going up against Cal and I'm really looking forward to it, we've had an awesome week of practice and we're ready to go. Competing with the team is lots of fun; it's crazy that our freshmen season is already half done! Thank you so much to everyone who has been out to support our team, we've had great crowds and it's exciting to compete in front of you!
School has been going well. As we near the end of the quarter midterms are coming up again. With seemingly never ending homework and papers, it's been hard to find the perfect balance but the support has been great. There are always people that we can go to and I've been spending a lot of time going to drop in sessions for more help. That's one of the best things about the UW, the support is always there!
On a completely different note, I've been trying to keep up with the Olympics that are happening in Vancouver! I wish I could be there experiencing the whole thing, especially since it's at home, but it still looks great on TV. Between school, gym and studying for midterms I haven't been able to catch very much, but I do know that the Canadian Hockey teams (and Americans, for now...) are doing AWESOME! This Sunday our team is having a dinner and watching the Canadian and American men's teams play each other, so I'm excited for that as well! Go Canada Go!
I can't wait for this weekend, thanks again for your support and I hope to see you all there! GO DAWGS!
