Elliott's No-Hitter And Solid Offensive Firepower Only Enough to Split Day One of Littlewood Classic for No. 5 Softball

TEMPE, Ariz. – A near-flawless no-hitter from Megan Elliott along with 28 runs scored for the Sun Devils wasn’t enough to give the No. 5 Sun Devil Softball team a perfect day as they topped Rutgers 19-0 in five innings before falling in a tough come-from-behind win 10-9 in nine innings to the Illinois State Redbirds. No. 11/12 California Completes Friday Sweep, Defeats Utah, 10-4
LAS VEGAS - The California softball team had to battle back from a deficit for the first time in 2010, but did so in magnificent fashion to defeat Utah, 10-4, on Friday afternoon. The Utes (5-1) scored three runs in the bottom of the first but the Golden Bears (6-1) scored eight runs in the fifth to run away with the game at Eller Media Stadium. [

The Cardinal run-ruled both Illinois (8-0) and UC Riverside (9-1) in five innings, Friday.
