LOS ANGELES - Junior GiOnna DiSalvatore went 4-for-4 with three RBI and a homer, while senior Megan Langenfeld was 3-for-4 with three runs batted in and a home run, as the fourth-ranked Bruins completed a perfect weekend with an 11-0, six-inning victory over Portland State on Sunday at the Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament at Easton Stadium.

The Bruins improve to 10-1 on the season with their eighth straight victory, while the Vikings fall to 4-8.

DiSalvatore and Langenfeld combined for seven of the Bruins' 15 hits. Senior Kaila Shull and junior Monica Harrison each had two.

In the circle, junior Donna Kerr improved to 5-0, allowing only one hit and two walks in five innings with nine strikeouts. She fanned the side in the second and a pair in both the third and fourth. Langenfeld tossed the last inning and gave up one hit with one strikeout.

UCLA, playing as the visiting team, got three in the first on one swing of the bat. With one out, Monica Harrison singled to center, and one out later, Langenfeld moved her to third on a single to right. DiSalvatore then hit her second home run of the season to right to put the Bruins on top 3-0.

The Bruins added a pair in the fourth. Portland State got the first two outs of the inning, but freshman B.B. Bates walked, stole second and scored on a double to right by Monica Harrison. Sophomore Andrea Harrison followed with a walk and Langenfeld drove in the elder Harrison with a single to right to make it 5-0.

UCLA tacked on another in the fifth. DiSalvatore reached on an infield single to open the inning and moved to second on a throwing error. Two batters later, Shull doubled to center to bring in DiSalvatore to make it 6-0.

The Bruins busted it open with five in the sixth, sending 10 batters to the plate. With one out, Langenfeld launched a two-run homer to center, her fifth of the season, with junior Grace Murray aboard to make it 8-0. Three straight singles by DiSalvatore, sophomore Samantha Camuso and senior Julie Burney put the Bruins up 9-0 and UCLA loaded the bases when Shull reached on a fielding error. Sophomore Marti Reed drew a free pass to bring home Camuso to make it 10-0 and Bates followed with a single to right to score Burney and the Bruins' 11th run.

The Bruins are back in action on Wednesday at Easton Stadium when they host Cal State Fullerton at 2 p.m. Gametracker and live audio will be available at UCLABruins.com.
