My goals for this season are: Winning a national championship
A moment in my life I will always remember: Signing with Stanford
The most noteworthy thing about my hometown: Several scenes of a variety of different reality shows were shot in Laguna Hills
My first impression of Coach Rittman was: He’s a family guy
Talent I would most like to have: Coordination
My parents’ occupations are: My father is the CFO of Preferred Homecare and my mother is the champion of the world
Favorite napping spot: The locker room!
The perfect meal includes: It starts with bread and ends with a tall glass of Ovaltine!
My favorite thing about our team is: We have a bunch of really unique individuals who are hilarious and brilliant at the same time. In true Stanford spirit, we manage to have really interesting and intellectual conversations wherever we go
The furthest from home I have ever been is: Enschede, Holland
The first sport I ever played was: Does hyperactively running around everywhere count as a sport? I never really stood still as a kid…
The person I would most like to meet is: Mahatma Gandhi
Superstitions/pregame rituals: I have several, but a few are that I always put my uniform on in the same order, polishing my spikes, and if I have a good game, I’ll do my hair the same way for the next game
When I leave Stanford, I want to: Mean something to the world
Since coming to Stanford, I have learned: How to eat really, really fast and fall asleep at any point in the day
My sports hero growing up was: My older brother, Ben
My earliest sports memory is: Shagging balls for my brother’s baseball team

In my off-time, I’m most likely to be found: Watching TV (Glee and Greek are current faves) or reading
Something people would be surprised to know about me: I lack coordination until I put catcher’s gear on. It’s like my superhero cape!

One wish I would make for the 21st century: I wish everyone could develop a greater sense of empathy. The human plight is the most important thing that faces us
If I had to cook all of my meals, I’d probably survive on: Anything I found in a cookbook- I love cooking!! Though baking is more of my specialty!
Sports teams I followed when I was younger: I was more of a highlights kind of kid. I loved the Top-10 on ESPN
The place I’d most like to visit: Ireland
I’m afraid of: Failure
Over the summer, I: Worked for an academic summer camp called EPGY as an Activities Coordinator (AKA the Fun Counselor, hehe)
Hidden talent: I can dislocate my shoulders on command

The reason I chose Stanford University is: There is no better place to be a student-athlete. Stanford has the best combination of athletics and academics in the country
My favorite thing to do on campus is: Exist. There is no better place to simply exist than Stanford

The talent I’d most like to have is: Reading minds (it would make pitch calling REALLY easy!)
My funniest teammate is: Alissa Haber
The sport I am the worst at is: Anything that involves running for a long period of time. I played a little soccer this summer and it was bad news!
My favorite softball memory is: Winning a gold medal at the Junior World Championships
My biggest pet peeve is: People who don’t use their turn signal while driving
If I could travel anywhere in the world I would go to: To Ireland
Favorite midnight snack: Sour Patch Watermelons, eggs and toast, or Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
My most embarrassing moment was: Falling down the dugout steps my freshman year and spraining my ankle in the middle of a game
Stanford softball will be fun to watch this year because: We are a good bunch of kids who all have the same goal
