Women's Golf Back in Action at Bruin Wave Invitational

CORVALLIS - The Oregon State women's golf team heads to Southern California to compete in the Bruin Wave Invitational, Mar. 1-3 co-hosted by UCLA and Pepperdine.
The tournament will be played at the Valley Course at the Robinson Ranch Golf Club in Santa Clarita, Calif. which is par-72, 6,282 yards. It is a three-day, 54-hole tournament consisting of three 18-hole rounds with one round played each day. Play begins with 8 a.m. tee times off of the first and 10th holes.
The 18-team field consists of 11 top 50 teams according to Golfstat. The field includes No. 1 UCLA, No. 2 Arizona State, No. 6 USC, No. 8 Arizona, No. 9 Pepperdine, No. 13 Stanford, No. 21 New Mexico, No. 33 Oregon, No. 34 Washington, No. 42 UNLV, No. 44 San Francisco as well as San Diego State, Long Beach State, BYU, Cal State Northridge, Oregon State, Washington State and New Mexico State.
Five OSU golfers will hit the course this week with four scores counting toward the team score in each round. This week's lineup consists of seniors Lauren Archer and Brittany Stewart, junior Kristina Gargaro, and sophomores Whitney French and Elyse Okada.
