Klahn And Thacher Into Semis At Pacific Coast Doubles

LA JOLLA, Calif.- Stanford's top pairing of Bradley Klahn and Ryan Thacher is into the semifinals at the Pacific Coast Doubles after picking up two more victories on Saturday afternoon.

Klahn and Thacher defeated San Diego's Nikol Bubnic and Thibaut Visy 6-1, 6-1 in the round of 16 before taking down UCLA's Matt Brooklyn and Amit Inbar 4-6, 7-6 (3), 6-2.

Stanford's freshman pairing of Matt Kandath and Denis Lin topped USC's Daniel Nguyen and JT Sundling 6-3, 6-2 in the round of 16 before dropping a 7-6 (2), 6-1 decision to USC's Robert Farah and Steve Johnson in the quarters.

Alex Clayton and Richard Wire, the third Cardinal doubles team in action on Saturday, was eliminated in the round of 16 by the duo of Brent Davis and Jeffrey Tarango 7-6 (2), 7-6 (2).
