UCLA-Long Beach State Game Postponed Due to Rain

March 6, 2010

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Saturday's softball game between fifth-ranked UCLA and Long Beach State at the San Diego Classic has been postponed due to inclement weather. Rain began to fall around 4:30 p.m. at the SDSU Softball Stadium, as the game before the Bruins-49ers contest between San Diego State and Wisconsin was halted in the bottom of the third inning.

There is no word on whether the game will be made up. The Bruins and the 49ers play a non-conference game at Easton Stadium on Friday, March 26 at 2 p.m.

The Bruins, weather permitting, are scheduled to play twice on Sunday against Buffalo (11:30 a.m.) and San Diego State (2 p.m.). Gametracker will be available at UCLABruins.com.
