Cal Baseball Shuts Out No. 17 Arkansas, 6-0
BERKELEY, CALIF. - Down 2-0 in a three-game series versus No. 17 Arkansas, the California baseball team put together an outstanding pitching and hitting effort in a 6-0 shutout of the Razorbacks Sunday, March 7 at Evans Diamond. The Golden Bears were paced by stellar pitching from junior right-handers Kevin Miller and Brian Diemer, and clutch hitting from junior first baseman Mark Canha and sophomore left fielder Danny Oh to improve to 7-3 on the year. FRESNO, Calif. -- KC Serna had three hits, J.J. Altobelli tripled and scored three runs and Alex Keudell picked up his second victory on the mound this week to lead the University of Oregon to an 8-3 win Sunday, sending the Ducks to a four-game series sweep of the host Bulldogs at Beiden Field. New Mexico Takes Series With 16-7 Win Over USC In Second Game Of Doubleheader
LOS ANGELES - Justin Howard went 5-for-6 with two doubles and five RBI as the New Mexico Lobos beat the USC Trojans, 16-7, to split a doubleheader Sunday and win the non-conference series at Dedeaux Field. Adam Courcha fell a home run short of the cycle in a 3-for-5 day while Max Willett also went 3-for 5 as the Lobos (8-4) pounded out 20 hits on the afternoon. [Read more]

#2 ASU Sweeps Coca-Cola Classic With Rain Shortened 4-1 Win Over FIU
SURPRISE, Ariz. - The second ranked ASU baseball team beat FIU 4-1 in a rain-shortened game at Surprise Stadium to sweep all four games of the Coca-Cola Classic. The game was called with a runner on first in the top of the eighth inning when a heavy downpour began. With the win, Arizona State improves to 11-0 on the year. [Read more]
