Pomeday, Roberts and Black to Highlight Beaver Sports Talk

Corvallis, Ore. – Oregon State men’s basketball assistant coach Nate Pomeday, wrestling assistant coach Kevin Roberts and softball’s Tarah Black will highlight Beaver Sports Talk on Tuesday, Mar. 9, at McMenamins on Monroe beginning at 7:00 p.m.


Black, a senior catcher majoring in Exercise and Sport Science, is this weeks everyday champion. She will be followed by Pomeday, as he previews the Pac-10 Tournament. The sixth-seeded Beavers will take on the third-seeded Washington Huskies on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The game will be televised nationally on FSN.


Roberts will talk about the wrestling team as it awaits its final bids to the NCAA Tournament after already qualifying five at the Pac-10 Tournament that took place on February 26-27. He will recap winning the conference crown and the record setting season that the young team has had thus far.
