Nickname: Koutzy, Riss, or MK
My goals for this season are: to win a national championship, Pac-10 title, and have a successful season individually
A moment in my life I will always remember: hitting the homerun to beat ASU my freshman year and sweeping the Arizona schools on senior weekend sophomore year
The most noteworthy thing about my hometown: Six Flags Magic Mountain
My first impression of Coach Rittman was: He’s a nice guy with crazy in-laws
Talent I would most like to have: To sing and dance
My parents’ occupations are: Bookkeeper / accountant, maintenance splicer for AT&T
Favorite napping spot: My bed
The perfect meal includes: Pasta, steak, and a delicious dessert
My favorite thing about our team is: Everything
The furthest from home I have ever been is: New York
The first sport I ever played was: I started softball and soccer at the same time
The person I would most like to meet is: My dad’s grandfather

When I leave Stanford, I want to: Attend law school
Since coming to Stanford, I have learned: That you can overcome anything if you have the right mindset
My sports hero growing up was: Derek Jeter
My earliest sports memory is: Being a pitcher on the Hart all-star team and being a sweeper on the all-star soccer team

One wish I would make for the 21st century: An end to war

Sports teams I followed when I was younger: Dodgers, Lakers, and USC football
