Football Season Ticket Renewals Begin on March 29

March 22, 2010

STANFORD, Calif. - Fans will be able to renew their season tickets for the 2010 campaign beginning on Monday, March 29 at 9:00 a.m. PT either on-line at, in person at the Stanford Athletics Ticket Office or by mail.

Season ticket prices for the 2010 home slate, which includes six home dates beginning with the season opener against Sacramento State on Sept. 4, are priced between $145 and $350, making Stanford Football one of the most affordable sports entertainment options in the Bay Area.

Stanford also offers a family plan (2 adults, 2 children in the general admission section) for all six games for the low price of $199.

Fans interested in purchasing season tickets for the first time may place a $100 deposit and will be seated immediately after the renewal process for existing accounts is completed.

Stanford will also implement a new fee parking policy for the 2010 season. Non-season ticket holders will be charged $15 to park in non-restricted lots (#4, #8 and #9).

Stanford is coming off an 8-5 season which included convincing victories over No. 24 Washington, No. 7 Oregon and No. 11 USC. The season was capped by an appearance in the Brut Sun Bowl.

Stanford returns 43 letterwinners including 17 starters off of last year's Sun Bowl team that posted an 8-5 record and tied for second in the Pac-10 Conference with a 6-3 record.

Quarterback Andrew Luck returns to lead a high-flying Stanford offense that scored the most points in school history a year ago. Leading receivers Ryan Whalen, Chris Owusu and Coby Fleener will team with Luck for one of the most exciting offenses in the nation.
