Stanford, Baylor Square Off In Fourth Annual HP Cup

STANFORD, Calif.- No. 13 Stanford will host No. 8 Baylor at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 30, showcasing a battle of two top-15 programs as the fourth annual HP Cup gets underway at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium.
The Cardinal (8-3, 0-0 Pac-10) will be looking for its first win over the Bears (7-4), who own a 9-0 lead in the all-time series which dates back to 1998.
This marks the fourth consecutive season that the two storied programs have matched up in the home-and-home series. The HP Cup is an annual meeting between the two schools, sponsored by HP.
Baylor posted a thrilling 4-3 victory during last year's meeting in Waco, securing the see-saw match with a three-set win at the No. 6 position to break a 3-3 tie.
The contest will be televised by Fox Sports Net, airing on Sunday, Apr. 4, at 12 p.m. The match will also be replayed on Friday, Apr. 16, at 2:30 p.m.
