The most noteworthy thing about my hometown: Tom Brady and Barry Bonds went to high school in San Mateo!
My first impression of Coach Rittman was: He’s hilarious, we should document this =)
Talent I would most like to have: A photographic memory!
My parents’ occupations are: Physician and Engineer
Favorite napping spot: Anywhere!
The perfect meal includes: Hot wings and ranch. Yummm!
My favorite thing about our team is: Our bond and our inside jokes
The first sport I ever played was: Basketball
The person I would most like to meet is: President Obama
Superstitions/pregame rituals: I tie and retie my shoes…often
When I leave Stanford, I want to: Travel the world
Since coming to Stanford, I have learned: that there are some amazing people in this world
My earliest sports memory is: YMCA basketball way back when
My favorite TV show: Criminal Minds
If I had to cook all of my meals, I’d probably survive on: PB&J and fruit
Over the summer, I: Plan to have an internship in Spain
My favorite place on the Stanford campus is: The Quad on a sunny day…which is generally 360 days of the year
My favorite class at Stanford has been: Social Psychology
I’m most thankful for: Those who put up with me
My parents were right when they told me: That if you rush, it’s going to take twice as long to complete the task because you’ll have to go back, fix it and do it again
The best advice I ever received was: “80% Maya…80%”
After my Stanford career is over, I’d like to be remembered as: Being positive and having an energetic presence
My favorite thing to do on campus is: Playing volleyball in the sandpits. It’s a rare privilege
My funniest teammate is: Tegan Schmidt
The sport I am the worst at is: Tennis
My favorite softball memory is: Getting a hit last year after hearing Cliff chant “How do you spell RBI…M-A-Y-A!”
My biggest pet peeve is: When people smack their gum
If I could travel anywhere in the world I would go to: Spain or Brazil
