Competition Begins at NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

After a 24-hour delay, the Arizona State diving team began competition at the 2010 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving competition. Both sophomore Constantin Blaha and freshman Riley McCormick made their NCAA Championship debut today.

Blaha led the duo in the 1-meter competition. The native of Austria, scored 330.15 points to finish 21st on the lower springboard. McCormick, who just began training the springboards this past season, placed 24th on the event.

Tomorrow's competition will feature the two Sun Devil divers on the 3-meter.
