Blair Dunlap Named UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week

Senior Blair Dunlap (Mission Viejo, CA/Santa Margarita HS) of the UCLA baseball team was selected as the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Mar. 22-28.
Dunlap batted .579, going 11-for-19 with four doubles and four runs in UCLA's perfect 4-0 week (extending the Bruins' overall record to 20-0). He extended his career-long hitting streak to 15 games, UCLA's longest such streak since 2005 (Chris Jensen, 18 games). Dunlap went 3-for-5 with one double and two runs in a 7-1 victory at UC Santa Barbara on Tuesday. He posted his second career four-hit game on Thursday night, going 4-for-5 with two doubles and two runs in UCLA's 11-7 series-opening win. Dunlap kept pace on Friday, going 2-for-4 with his team-leading 10th double. He went 2-for-5 with one RBI in the Bruins' series finale on Saturday. He has batted .417 with three homers and 10 doubles this season.
This is Dunlap's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of his career.
