Britnie Jones earned 2nd team Academic All-Conference accolades for her GPA of 3.400 with an undecided major. This is Jones' first time being honored for academics in her career.
'Sarah and Miranda have done a great job their entire career with their academics. It is so awesome that Britnie was able to get this award as a sophomore, hopefully this sets an example for our younger girls on the team.' Head Coach Bill Ryden said, 'All of these girls have been so successful academically so far in their careers, and it just goes to show that being a college athlete isn't just about the sport, but being successful in school as well - and these girls do a great job.'
